If you are looking for more garden items at fantastic prices and that are transferable I really have to recommend heading on over to the ALBERO Plant and Garden Fair. They have a heap of stuff there and something for every single persons taste. Everything is there that you can think of from animals to snow emitters, not to mention trees, flowers and gorgeous decorations. So Christmas is nearly here and I have finally finished my Christmas shopping on SL....thank goodness. It was not nearly as easy as I had hoped and it was quiet hard to find gifts. So I have decided to do a series of posts about what I found and where you can get giftcards. I started today with some furnishings I found that are free or very cheap and transferable. I have to mention the PERTURB/ation Christmas Gacha Gacha Festival. Go here to check it out (TAXI). There are so many adorable Christmas items for free, and nearly all of them are transferable so you can give them away as presents or keep them for yourself. There is also some fantastic items up for grabs with the Christmas gacha presents random vendor. Basically, pay the Christmas tree L$30 and see what you win. All the prizes are displayed at the festival and they are just fantastic. I can not believe they are only L$30. There is everything from cookies to an amazing skybox. These are all transferable so if you win more than one of the same thing....think presents people! Head on over and check it out for sure and grab yourself and someone else a present.

*elymode* has a fantastic new store at the ICON Lifestyle sim and to help celebrate, Elysium Eilde has put out a light brown version of the Tuxedo Shirt available as a gift for this week only. That's right for one week only! So hurry on down there and grab it while you can. It is a fantastic staple item for your wardrobe and I promise you, you will wear it again and again. Once the week is up Elysium will be putting it in her new-resident gift box and only those residents 30 days or younger will be able to get it. Lucky newbies, they seem to get everything these days.
This gorgeous brown version of the Tuxedo shirt goes amazingly with the brown tux pants and vest which you can pick up for L$250. As always the non-limited edition pants are L$190 and the vests are L$150 each. You can mix and match to your hearts desire and this is one of the things I love about Elysium's collection so much.....the endless possibilities, oh and the colors!
I have said it before and I will say it again, Elysium's seam work in her designs is second to none. The attention to detail that has gone into her garments is absolutely outstanding. The simplistic quality of each garment is an absolute highlight and in my opinion, is the immediate standout feature of Elysium’s clothing which will separate her from other aspiring designers.

Saw this fantastic contest this morning and just had to repost it on my blog. Get those entries in people!
Here’s your chance to do all two! Beginning on October 11, 2009, you have a chance to become a Naïve Girl/Guy! What is a Naïve Girl/Guy? As a Naïve Girl/Guy you get a chance to model new releases for Naïve in our print ads. You’re also able to blog not only Naïve clothes but other designers on our official Naïve website (http://www.naivesl.com) which feeds the most important SL Fashion Feeds.
The rules of the contest are simple. These are the following requirements.:
1.) You have to take at least two pictures of yourself mixing and matching clothes from Naïve so we can see your personal style. You’re allowed to use items from other stores, but the majority of the outfit must be from Naïve.
2.) You have to write a brief description of what the outfit is and why you chose to put this particular outfit together. Please also include which stores you bought the items from. After you’ve written the mock blog, include a paragraph as to why we should pick you to be a Naïve Girl/Guy. The mock blog write up and paragraph altogether should be at least 200 words. You may write it in English or Spanish.
3.) Once you’ve done all of that, title your note card as: “Naïve Girl/Guy – Your First and Last Name here” and send it Clear Canning, Naïve’s Store Manager. And yes males are allowed to enter the contest as well considering we do cater to men’s apparel.
THIS CONTEST RUNS FROM OCTOBER 11, 2009 TO OCTOBER 18, 2009 WITH WINNERS SHORTLY TO FOLLOW.
We will announce the top three winners to become Naïve Girls/Guys as well as winning the following:

Yesterday the 20 Finalists for Miss Bliss Couture 2010 were announced. I have copied and pasted the notecard here in case anyone missed it or wants to know.
