Runway Diva (EFA) Is Back!

EFA ( (Ewing Fashion agency) Runway Diva is on again! On the 17th November, at 12:00 AM SLT.The theme is Sexy! How you interrupt this is up to you. There is mini contest. If you want to join, please bring your two outfits and poses, and be ready to strut your stuff on the catwalk. The winner will get a good Prize from Sponsor who is Phia Vaughan and Sampson Suntzu from Twisted & Spoiled. Twisted & Spoiled is a fantastic shop for clothes, hair, jewelry and accessories.

The amazing Tillie Ariantho will be there as photographer for the event and we all know she does an amazing job taking photos at shows. Models Tempest Hennesy, Annabelle Fleury, Silky Trilling and Rena Mascot will be doing a mini fashion show before the contest. So make sure you are there early to see it!

If you are an experienced model or aspiring model this is a great chance to get out there and display your talent, styling and skills on the runway. Do not miss it!

Reflections Of Jennaa - <3 *elymode*

That's right for one week only! So hurry on down there and grab it while you can. It is a fantastic staple item for your wardrobe and I promise you, you will wear it again and again. Naive’s Modeling Contest!

Saw this fantastic contest this morning and just had to repost it on my blog. Get those entries in people!

Here’s your chance to do all two! Beginning on October 11, 2009, you have a chance to become a Naïve Girl/Guy! What is a Naïve Girl/Guy? As a Naïve Girl/Guy you get a chance to model new releases for Naïve in our print ads. You’re also able to blog not only Naïve clothes but other designers on our official Naïve website (http://www.naivesl.com) which feeds the most important SL Fashion Feeds.

The rules of the contest are simple. These are the following requirements.:

1.) You have to take at least two pictures of yourself mixing and matching clothes from Naïve so we can see your personal style. You’re allowed to use items from other stores, but the majority of the outfit must be from Naïve.

2.) You have to write a brief description of what the outfit is and why you chose to put this particular outfit together. Please also include which stores you bought the items from. After you’ve written the mock blog, include a paragraph as to why we should pick you to be a Naïve Girl/Guy. The mock blog write up and paragraph altogether should be at least 200 words. You may write it in English or Spanish.

3.) Once you’ve done all of that, title your note card as: “Naïve Girl/Guy – Your First and Last Name here” and send it Clear Canning, Naïve’s Store Manager. And yes males are allowed to enter the contest as well considering we do cater to men’s apparel.

THIS CONTEST RUNS FROM OCTOBER 11, 2009 TO OCTOBER 18, 2009 WITH WINNERS SHORTLY TO FOLLOW.

We will announce the top three winners to become Naïve Girls/Guys as well as winning the following:

We are currently Casting for a Ewing Alumni Show to be held on Sunday 20th September at 2pm SLT. We will be casting five female alumni models for this show.. The show will be to showcase the new fantastic designs of one of our very own alumni Aleida Rhode and her fashion label Aleida,

There will be three rehersal times, please ensure that you can make at least two of them before applying to be part of the show.

Wednesday Septemeber 16th at 12pm

Thursday September 17th at 12pm

Saturday September 19th at 12pm
(this will be the full dress rehersal and must be attended by all)

Sunday September 20th at 2pm Showtime (please arrive backstage at 1pm)

If you are interested and can make at least 2 of the rehersals, please send a notecard stating your interest to Ella Quinsette. We look forward to hearing from you many thanks. We may request that we see you do a short runway sequence before deciding on who will be chosen, more details will follow. Thank you.

Have you been thinking about training for the exciting world of fashion modeling? Do you wonder what it takes to become a successful model in Second Life? Here’s your chance to be trained by some of the best models in Second Life.

The instructors of the Ewing Elite Model Training Program are pleased to announce the start of its next session on Monday, September 14th, 2009. Class sessions are planned for 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM SLT, enrollment permitting, running from September 14th through September 27th, 2009 with the Graduation Show on Sunday September 27th. Classes will consist of three sessions per week meeting on Monday, Wednesday and Friday plus at least two runway workshops per week. The cost for the course is L$10,000. All serious aspiring models, male and female are invited to interview. Please contact Ella Quinsette or Raine McCellan if you wish to be considered. Also, please submit a short bio about yourself and your interests.

Interviews will be by appointment only between September 5th and September 13th . Each interview is expected to last thirty minutes. If invited to interview, you will be given a location and be expected to dress professionally and appropriately for the world of fashion modeling. After all interviews are finished, successful applicants will be notified and invited to register for classes. More information on the training course can be found at the EFA website.
